Job summary

Amentum is seeking a readiness-focused IT/litigation support professional in Washington, DC. The role involves preparing load files, processing native formats, and ensuring data integrity for litigation matters.

The candidate will work with Relativity and Ipro, perform media handling with encryption, and support quality checks while coordinating with senior staff. MRPT credentials and US citizenship are required for facility access. Opportunities include benefits under SCA.

  • Notify senior staff of deficiencies in productions.
  • Intake/staging of productions, including virus scanning and copying data to network locations.
  • Process files from native formats to TIFF image format.
  • Identify productions for download and assist with preparing files for loading.

Job description

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Creates and modifies basic load files to be used for loading into litigation support databases.
  • Performs native file processing
  • Making copies of media such as thumb drives and discs using encryption software
  • Ensuring the accuracy of data loading, manipulation, and conversion by performing and documenting quality and accuracy checks.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides senior Contractor IT staff with notice of deficiencies.
  • If needed, performing intake/staging of productions to include virus scanning and copying data to the appropriate network location
  • Processing files from native formats to TIF image format
  • Identifing productions for download and assists with preparing files for loading
Required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
  • Requires some experience with Relativity and Ipro or related software.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of text editors, file manipulation applications and experience with Ipro, and Relativity, is extremely helpful.
  • Experience working with computer hardware a plus.
  • Experience in automated litigation support extremely helpful.
  • Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC, and server-based applications very helpful.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; preferably in communication science or information management/technology fields.
Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
