Amentum is seeking a knowledgeable resource with broad knowledge of the government's IT environment and Relativity experience to join a team of legal professionals in supporting the Department of Justice in Washington DC.

The successful candidate will lead lab data processing, ensure timely production, and advise on EDRM phases, collaborating with attorneys and support staff to ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain MRPT facility credentials and US citizenship for access.
  • Eight years in eDiscovery roles including processing, conversion, culling, QA, and data analysis.
  • Five years in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
  • Working knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field.
  • Extensive Relativity and data processing experience.
  • Broad knowledge of Government IT environments and related office automation and databases.
  • Experience with LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office, LiveNote.

Responsibilities

Job description

Amentum is seeking a knowledgeable resource with broad knowledge of the governments IT environment and Relativity experience to join a team of legal professionals in providing support to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington DC.

Successful candidate will:
  • Serves as technical lead and responsible for delivery of lab data processing services, generating outgoing productions, not limited to qc of coding fields
  • Ensures timely and accurate completion of technical work orders. Align priorities in data processing queue.
  • Assist with completing request in the queue.
  • Consults with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications
  • Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and outgoing productions are compliant with applicable stipulations
  • Advises attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM); especially: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
  • Manage team of eDiscovery professionals situated in a client-site eDiscovery laboratory
  • Advises attorneys, paralegals, and case managers on all phases of the electronic discovery
  • Ensures successful completion of work, timeliness of deliverables, and quality control
  • Collaborate with teams to create search strategies
  • Manage work order queue
  • Participates in Rule 26(f) conferences
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
  • At least eight years of experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis and review.
  • At least five years of experience at the management/supervisory level
  • Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process, and the EDRM workflow
  • Working knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools
  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in computer science or related field
  • Extensive Relativity experience.
  • Extensive data processing experience.
  • Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server based databases and applications.
  • Experience with litigation support tools such as LAW, IPRO, Concordance, MS Office Suite, and LiveNote highly valued.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred skills:
  • Ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important
  • Ability to analyze attorneys' needs, and to design and implement a whole system solution responsive to those needs will be very important.
Compensation Details:

$120,000.00 - $132,000.00
