Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New Jersey is seeking a Technical Lead to design and implement scalable data architectures for the P&C insurance domain. You will lead modernization efforts, migrate legacy systems to cloud data platforms, and collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims and IT teams to deliver robust data solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Snowflake, Python, Spark, Informatica and Datastage, plus strong data modeling and ETL/ELT design

Qualifications

• Design and implement scalable data architectures for P&C insurance.
• Translate business requirements into robust data solutions across underwriting, actuarial, claims and IT teams.
• Evaluate tools, run PoCs and propose tech options and solutions to the client.
• Lead modernization and migration to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Define data integration strategies across internal systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek) and third-party data providers (ISO, LexisNexis).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Drive adoption of AI within the technical team and identify new feature use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture tailored to the needs of the P&C insurance business.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and IT teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
• Evaluate Tool & technologies, run proof of concept and propose technology options and solutions to the client.
• Lead the modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Define data integration strategies across internal systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) and third-party data providers (e.g., ISO, LexisNexis).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Be a key player in transforming the data landscape, drive adoption of AI within the technical team
• Identify potential use cases for new features with tools in the marketplace for data and AI.
