This position is located in the District of Columbia Board of Elections (BOE), Office of the Executive Director, Data Services Division. It is a seasonal position (less than 6 months) paid $20.00 per hour. The BOE’s mission is to enfranchise eligible residents, conduct elections, and assure the integrity of the electoral process. The BOE is expanding its mission to increase civic participation and provide citizens of the District of Columbia with vital information and data to enhance the voter experience. The incumbent will assist with critical data processing functions, requiring a high level of focus, analytical skills, and the ability to research problems and issues in order to perform data entry and verification of voter registration applicants.
Applicants must have previous experience handling sensitive data, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering to privacy guidelines, maintaining integrity and security of confidential information while working collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Election experience is preferred. Candidates must be committed to accuracy and election integrity, adaptable to changing priorities and workflows, dependable, punctual, and professional.

Work is primarily sedentary and performed in the normal office setting. Long hours of sitting and typing are required.
