Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Systems Engineer to help build and maintain Data Security products. You will work on APIs and distributed code to gain deep visibility into security opportunities and network traffic patterns.

You’ll use Go, Python, and TypeScript to extend our platforms, run on Kubernetes and cloud services, and ensure performance as data volumes scale across CDN and security workloads. Collaborative, curious engineers thrive here.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building reliable and performant software systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Go and Python, plus willingness to learn new languages and technologies.
• Experience with Postgres and modern data/analytics stacks; strong debugging and optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll help build and maintain Data Security products as a Software Engineer.
• You’ll focus on building new functionality into APIs and distributed code while ensuring performance and reliability of services ingesting millions of data points daily.
• You’ll join a team of engineers who solve security and network visibility challenges for customers.
