Job summary

Axiom Path, Inc. is hiring a Data Security Support Analyst in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on protecting enterprise data, strengthening access controls, and supporting regulatory compliance within a high-governance environment.

You will work with Varonis and Microsoft Entra ID, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to remediation initiatives in a regulated industry. W2 only; strong data security expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in IT support, security operations, or data governance environments.
• Hands-on experience with Varonis Data Security Platform (Data Privilege).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and access management concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance tools.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
• Experience supporting audit remediation or compliance-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remediate access permissions across enterprise data repositories using Varonis and Entra ID.
• Partner with business users to validate and correct access entitlements to sensitive/unstructured data.
• Support closure of internal audit findings by implementing data access controls and governance processes.
• Provide technical support for enterprise applications to ensure operational continuity.
• Troubleshoot incidents, manage service requests, and perform ongoing system maintenance and updates.
• Contribute to improving data classification, access approval workflows, and compliance standards.
