Job summary

Avalore, LLC is seeking a Data Security Engineer to ensure the security and compliance of the WDP data platform and its data tools. You will implement data protection measures, manage user access and permissions, and align with data governance policies.

You will design and implement security controls, perform risk assessments, develop data classification procedures, monitor for breaches, and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
• 4-7 years of experience + Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and compliance of WDP data platform and tools
• Implement data protection measures and manage access controls
• Conduct security risk assessments for data systems
• Develop data classification and handling procedures
• Configure and monitor data access control systems
• Respond to data security incidents and breaches
• Lead encryption efforts for data at rest and in transit
• Collaborate with compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements
• Deliver data security awareness training and participate in audits
