Job summary

PGIM is seeking a Data Security Specialist to support the Data Security Lead in executing quality control activities, monitoring controls, and improving the organization’s data security posture. You will work with platform owners, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective control implementations and reporting.

The role emphasizes control assessments, remediation tracking, and staying current with data security technologies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity and data security principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with cloud and on-premises security technologies.
• Exposure to DLP, SIEM, CASB, DSPM is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support quality control assessments of data security controls across cloud and on-prem platforms.
• Assist in validating the effectiveness of technical controls protecting sensitive data.
• Identify control gaps and track remediation activities.
• Review security control configurations for policy alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain quality control documentation and evidence for audits.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership.
