Job description

We are seeking a Data Security Specialist with experience in PCI Compliance and querying data from different technology sources to validate security configurations. The Data Security Specialist will be responsible for the planning, design, enforcement, and audit of security policies and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files, and data elements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security issues, techniques, and implications across existing computer platforms and the ability to identify security risks and recommend appropriate improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, enforce, and audit security policies and procedures that safeguard enterprise systems, files, and data elements.
  • Support PCI Compliance activities and validate security configurations across enterprise technology environments.
  • Query and analyze data from different technology sources to validate security configurations and identify potential security issues.
  • Act on security violations and support appropriate remediation activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of changing technologies and provide recommendations for adoption of new technologies, security solutions, or policies.
  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing data security policies and procedures require changes.
  • Recommend and support the development of new security policies and procedures based on future business expansion and evolving security requirements.
  • Provide management with risk assessments and security briefings regarding critical issues that may affect customer or corporate security objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend security products, services, and procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Oversee security awareness programs and provide education on security policies and practices.
  • Monitor and assess security controls across enterprise technology platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to address security gaps and strengthen data protection practices.
  • Support security audits, compliance assessments, and ongoing security governance activities.
Required Qualifications
