Job summary

Executive Management Services, Inc. seeks a data analytics professional to perform analytics, ML, and predictive analytics on DoD-related data at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.

You will integrate data from APIs/databases with Python, R, and SQL, and build ML tools that automate processes while creating visualizations in Power BI and Tableau. The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly and a bachelor’s degree with significant experience; on-site work in the Washington, DC area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of experience or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R.
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Creating ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.
• Performs statistical analysis, data mining techniques, and builds high quality prediction systems.
• Be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Power BI and Tableau; major data science languages, such as R and Python; managing and merging disparate data sources via R, Python, or SQL.
• Have prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions. Proactively retrieves information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds AI tools that automate certain processes. Duties typically include: Creating various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.

Performs statistical analysis, applies data mining techniques, and builds high quality prediction systems.

Be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau; major data science languages, such as R and Python; managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis; and data mining algorithms.

Have prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.

General Factors: Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; more than 40-hour work weeks should be expected when schedules demand it.

Willing to travel, if needed.

No Relocation.

Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.

Clearance: TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years or ability to pass a CI Poly)
