Job summary

Streamline Defense is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency at DIA Headquarters, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC. This is an immediate-fill position applying data science, analytics, and AI/ML to high-priority intelligence missions.

The role requires extensive experience with Python, R, SQL, and database design/administration in DBMS environments such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL. A TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• 3+ years experience with Python and R.
• 3+ years experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing data from APIs and databases using Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL database design and administration.
• 3+ years experience with data analytics, data mining, statistics, or AI/ML.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, merge, and analyze structured and unstructured data from APIs and databases using Python, R, and SQL

• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and Power BI
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoW or a federal agency
• Familiarity with HUMINT
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
