Job summary

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Data Scientist with TS/SCI Clearance in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area to support a federal government‑focused technology company. This is a full‑time role with regular travel to client sites and secure facilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Based in or near Washington, DC/Northern Virginia with access to SCIFs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Python and Python data stack (pandas, numpy, sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• 1+ year deploying machine learning models in production.
• 1–2 years SQL/NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, graph databases).
• Experience with Git, Docker, and/or Kubernetes.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the company's AI platform to develop and deploy production-ready solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI solution development from ideation to implementation.
• Work with customer data and big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks) to design effective workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, explainable AI models.
