DCCA is a veteran-owned high-technology firm providing IT services to government agencies and commercial clients. We seek a Data Scientist with active TS/SCI w/ Poly to design predictive models and scalable data solutions in challenging federal environments.

Role emphasizes advanced analytics, cloud data processing, and collaboration with AI/ML engineers to productionize models while ensuring compliance with security standards and data governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of data science, analytics, or ML engineering experience.
• Proficient Python and R; strong SQL for complex querying (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
• Extensive ML libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Cloud & big data: AWS GovCloud, AWS S3, EMR, Redshift.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate predictive models and ML algorithms for federal challenges.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large structured and unstructured data; build data pipelines.
• Implement anomaly detection and fraud prevention for audits.
• Translate findings into dashboards/reports using QuickSight, Tableau or Power BI.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to productionize models in apps/microservices.
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with DoD/NIST standards.
• Monitor model performance and retrain to prevent drift.
