Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Data Scientist to drive analytics for profitability, efficiency, and customer experience. You will design scalable algorithms, document code into reusable libraries, and present insights to business partners.

Role requires strong communication across cross-functional teams and experience with Python, SQL, BigQuery, and Tableau. You will contribute to innovations in optimization, NLP or related data-science areas and influence business decisions.

Qualifications

• Masters in a quantitative field (or equivalent work experience) as preferred qualification.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Experience with Python, SQL, BigQuery and Tableau is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• 55% Solution Development - design and develop algorithms and models from large datasets to create business insights and lead analytics projects.
• 20% Communicating Results - present insights to technical and non-technical leaders and stakeholders; prepare updates and reports.
• 10% Business Collaboration - work with internal customers to align project goals and drive adoption of solutions.
• 15% Technical Exploration & Development - stay updated on data science advances and build reusable data products and libraries.
