Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Data Scientist to support data science initiatives that increase profitability, efficiency and customer experience. You will work with large datasets, develop algorithms, and document code into a reusable library.

You will lead analytics projects, communicate insights to business leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure impactful implementation while continuously improving data products and processes.

Qualifications

• Masters in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
• Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Excel and Tableau
• Experience with prescriptive modeling like optimization, computer vision, recommendation, search or NLP

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data science solutions and models for large datasets to generate business insights
• Communicate results and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics projects with business goals
• Develop replicable data products and maintain a library of reusable algorithms
