Position Overview: As a Data Scientist in Indianapolis, IN, you will analyze complex data sets, develop simulation models, leverage foundation models, and identify insights to inform business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand problems, develop hypotheses, and test them with data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for large data analysis.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business problems with data-driven solutions.
3. Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Research emerging trends and technologies relevant to the role.
5. Manage multiple projects with prioritization and efficiency.

Additional Duties:

1. Frame and solve complex business problems using simulation and machine learning techniques.
2. Develop scenario planning models.
3. Maintain data quality and accuracy.
4. Stay current with advancements in simulation and AI technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics (Numerical Analysis, HPC, OR), Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Or MS in the same fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience developing simulation and leveraging foundation models.
• Experience with simulation and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with deep learning and reinforcement learning.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• People management or consulting experience.
• Experience with simulation platforms like Anylogic or Simio.
