• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Data Science
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience with data visualization software and programming languages including Python and R
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience handling project planning and scheduling data with tools like Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Minimum of 5 years' experience monitoring operation of assigned programs, collecting data, and diagnosing/correcting errors
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in applying data science methodologies to derive meaningful insights from diverse data sources
• Effective writing, speaking, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide senior level oral and written communication with higher command levels
• Support using Naval data sources and repositories
• Import data sources, run macros, relay issues to development team
• Work with data visualization tools and validate outputs
• Analyze data and prepare recommendations for new systems or procedures
• Create reports and presentation materials from data
• Transform raw data into readable formats for leadership decisions
• Design, build, test and optimize data using multiple sources
• Apply statistics to identify patterns and insights using Python/R
