Guidehouse is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join our Navy-focused analytics team in Virginia Beach/Norfolk. You will perform diverse data analyses, build dashboards, and help design AI/ML models to improve readiness and decision support.

The role requires a current SECRET clearance, a quantitative bachelor’s degree, and 1+ years in analytics or related work. Collaboration with government stakeholders and data engineers is a key aspect of the job.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 1+ years of data analytics, modeling, BI or related work.
• Experience with data visualization and analytics tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory, descriptive, diagnostic and predictive data analysis to support Navy Reserve readiness and mission assurance.
• Develop, test and maintain data models, dashboards and visualizations from enterprise data sources.
• Support design and implementation of AI/ML models to improve forecasting and readiness.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects and stakeholders to validate data and present insights.
• Identify data quality issues and support automated monitoring and governance.
