Job summary

RS Americas is modernizing sales quoting, pricing, and revenue processes. The Data Scientist will identify, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights to optimize margin performance across the organization using advanced analytics, statistics, and machine learning.

The role collaborates with pricing, sales, procurement, and finance to translate data into actionable recommendations that affect deal pricing, cost management, and product mix in an industrial distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for pricing, revenue, and margin optimization.
• Build and validate predictive models for demand, elasticity, and customer behavior.
• Analyze margin, growth, and channel performance to identify opportunities.
