Job summary

CREW Carbon is seeking a product-focused data scientist and developer to join CREW’s Platform Team. You will design and implement data products to enable CREW teams and expand the intelligence platform, ranging from data transformations to dashboards and tooling.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years as a data professional, strong Python, ML libraries, and experience communicating with non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, and colleagues to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a collaborative data professional (data scientist, data analyst, data engineer).
• Background pairing data or computer science with environmental or natural science.
• Strong Python skills, including numpy, pandas; experience with ML libraries and visualization tools.
• Experience building dashboards or data visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Clear communication and documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Design data products by articulating problems and proposing effective solutions.
• Implement data products with production-quality code and develop dashboards or tooling.
• Be a steward of CREW's intelligence platform: educate colleagues and iterate on products.
• Collaborate across scientists, engineers, and non-technical colleagues to maximize impact.
