Job summary

All Native Group, a division of Ho Chunk Incorporated, is seeking a Data Scientist to support a Federal Agency enterprise data management and analytics program. You will develop and refine machine learning and AI models, apply NLP to unstructured data, and collaborate with an Agile team to ensure timely delivery.

A DEA security clearance is required for employment. The role involves ETL design, data enrichment, model validation, and deployment of models with APIs and automation pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with at least one analytical language (Python, R, or SQL).
• 2+ years of custom ML/AI model training including NLP for unstructured data.
• 3+ years of SQL database and coding experience.
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools.
• 2+ years of ability to manipulate unstructured data.
• Experience in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
• Experience supporting federal law enforcement or mission-focused data programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate custom ML/AI models, including supervised and unsupervised approaches.
• Apply NLP techniques to extract, enrich, and analyze unstructured data.
• Improve and expand entity extraction processes to improve analytic outcomes.
• Evaluate enterprise data holdings and develop models to enrich data toward mission advantage.
• Manipulate, cleanse, and prepare structured and unstructured data for model development and analysis.
• Build data visualizations that communicate analytic findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate within an Agile delivery team, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery.
• Conduct model validation for accuracy, stability, and bias detection.
• Establish model monitoring and retraining to detect performance drift.
• Package and deploy validated models, including APIs and automation pipelines.
• Design and implement ETL processes to prepare source data for model training.
• Document model assumptions, data inputs, training parameters, and validation results.
