Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Data Scientist in Highlands Ranch, CO to lead ML model development and data analytics initiatives. You will transform business problems into ML framing, preprocess data, and build predictive systems while collaborating with partners across domains.

Requirements include MS and a Bachelor of Computer Science, strong Python data science skills, SQL experience, and knowledge of GenAI.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of machine learning including gradient boosting, GLMs, time series, NLP.
• Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques.
• Ability to do data analysis using Python.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, feature engineering, A/B testing and predictive modelling.
• Python data science stack: pandas, scikit-learn, MLflow (or similar).
• Experience with SQL.
• Excellent communication with partners to translate business problems into ML framing.
• Good understanding of GenAI.

Responsibilities

• Understand domain and data analytics requirements.
• Perform data preprocessing including transformation and cleaning.
• Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects.
• Build analytic systems and predictive models.
• Increase the performance and accuracy of ML algorithms through fine-tuning.
