Job summary

Amazon's Last Mile Simulation and Analytics Team is seeking a Data Scientist to help design and optimize the world's most complex delivery network. You'll partner with process engineers, design engineers, simulation scientists, and innovation teams to solve high-impact problems across both greenfield and brownfield initiatives.

In this role, you'll own the Data Science/ML roadmap—developing statistical and machine learning models, designing global experiments, and discovering new ways to enhance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL, Python, etc.).
• 3+ years of ML/statistical modeling experience.
• Master's degree in STEM or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute large-scale experiments to uncover insights from complex datasets.
• Build scalable, automated pipelines for data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment.
• Develop ML solutions including regression, clustering, neural networks, and optimization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies and measure impact.
• Validate findings against KPIs and drive improvements with stakeholders.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and align with business priorities.
