Job summary

TDW is seeking a data scientist to design and deploy models for detection, identification, and regression of pipeline features. You will collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to create reliable Inline-Inspection solutions in production environments.

The role requires strong Python and ML experience, plus knowledge of signal processing and data visualization. You will engage in Agile project planning and participate in industry events representing TDW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent industry experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in object-oriented programming and SDLC.
• 0–3 years experience with MS Visual Studio.
• 0–3 years experience with C++.
• 5–10 years experience with Python and ML techniques.
• Experience with signal processing and regression analyses.

Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to define solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Operations to create Inline-Inspection solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy software in production.
• Lead model/software development from research to lifecycle support.
• Propose performance optimizations and scaling strategies.
• Review models and implement improvements.
• Annotate, clean, and support data used for development.
• Estimate development durations and meet deadlines.
• Plan and track projects using Agile methods.
