Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Scientist for the Managed Operations Intelligence Team in Arlington, VA. You will lead end-to-end data science work—from data exploration and ETL to model development and visualization—driving data-driven transformation across the organization.

Responsibilities include building ML models, productionizing them with software teams, and shaping metrics that capture AWS operational complexity and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) and scripting languages (Python) experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning/modeling and data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using analytical approaches.
• Develop ML/AI models and productionalize them with software teams.
• Design and implement data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Define and monitor advanced metrics and KPIs to reflect operational objectives.
