Job summary

PingWind, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist II to support the MEWSD in essential naval EW and SEWIP programs. The role applies data science, reliability engineering, and operations research to analyze complex systems and improve readiness and lifecycle performance.

The candidate will collaborate with logisticians, engineers, and program staff to deliver data-driven insights, develop models, and present findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with data science or analytics.
• Secret clearance required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical techniques to transform raw data into actionable information for operational and program decision-making.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, statistical analysis, NLP, and ML to large structured and unstructured data.
• Use data-oriented programming languages and tools to collect, process, integrate, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.
• Develop data models and algorithms to identify trends, risks, and performance indicators.
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interpret results and provide data-driven recommendations to improve system performance and lifecycle readiness.
• Integrate logistics, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operations data for lifecycle management.
• Maintain repeatable analytical processes and reporting solutions to improve data quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with logisticians, engineers, and program personnel to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
