Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist for the NAS SHAKE science team in the Seattle area. You will collaborate with applied scientists, data engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business partners to answer complex questions using data analysis, improving ML-based recommendations and reducing returns.

You will work with diverse datasets, build segmentation models, and present insights to stakeholders while thriving in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data querying languages (SQL) or scripting languages (Python) or statistical software (R, SAS, Matlab) experience.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work with science, data engineering, product managers, UX designers, and business partners to answer complex problems via data analysis.
• Analyze complex datasets to derive insights, build segmentation models and improve customer experience.
• Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
