Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist to design and deploy scalable ML models for its Personalization team in Seattle. You will work on generative AI, LLMs, NLP and computer vision to improve recommendations, partnering with software engineers to productionize algorithms.

You will contribute to high-impact experiments, leverage large-scale data, and push boundaries with state-of-the-art techniques to benefit hundreds of millions of customers.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s with relevant CS/ML experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java/C++/Python.
• Experience with algorithms, data mining and distributed computing.

Responsibilities

• Use AI/ML to create scalable solutions for business problems.
• Analyze large historical data to automate and optimize processes.
• Design, develop and evaluate scalable models for predictive learning.
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy models into production.
