Qualifications

Requires Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist in Banking or related domain.
Proficiency in Python or R with data science libraries.
Hands-on with large language models including fine-tuning and prompts.
Strong foundation in statistics, ML, and data mining.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
Experience with Big Data (Hadoop), RDBMS (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze large financial datasets to extract actionable insights.
Develop and evaluate ML models for banking use cases (risk, fraud, segmentation).
Apply and fine-tune LLMs for document analysis and regulatory tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
Communicate findings via reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Ensure data quality and pipeline reliability with data engineers and ML engineers.
Present recommendations to stakeholders in engaging format.
