Job summary

Endurion is a mission integrator focused on special operations, applying data science to human performance and readiness data to deliver insights and decision-support products for the POTFF enterprise.

The role analyzes structured and unstructured data, builds predictive models, develops Power BI dashboards, and supports ROI analyses while maintaining secure handling per DoW IL5 and HIPAA. Requires a BS in a quantitative field, Python/R, SQL, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitatively-focused discipline (statistics, biostatistics, math, data science, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of applied statistics and supervised/unsupervised ML.
• Visual analytics experience (Power BI preferred).
• Desirable: Databricks/PySpark, NLP/LLM familiarity, Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, human performance or clinical data experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data using exploratory, statistical and ML techniques.
• Query, clean and prepare data from HPDMS and other approved sources.
• Develop and validate predictive models for operator readiness and program efficacy.
• Support NLP use cases on clinical or survey text within approved tools/datasets.
• Build Power BI dashboards and executive reports; automate monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Support efficacy and ROI analyses of POTFF interventions.
• Document methods for reproducibility; brief non-technical leadership.
• Maintain DoW IL5, HIPAA and Privacy Act controls.

Applies statistical analysis, data mining and machine learning to human performance, behavioral health and readiness data to produce insights, forecasts and decision-support products for the POTFF enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data using exploratory, statistical and machine-learning techniques.
• Query, clean and prepare data from HPDMS and other government-approved sources.
• Develop and validate predictive models for operator readiness, injury risk and program efficacy.
• Support NLP use cases on clinical or survey text within government-approved tools and datasets only.
• Build Power BI dashboards and executive reports; automate monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Support efficacy and ROI analyses of POTFF interventions.
• Document methods for reproducibility; brief non-technical leadership.
• Maintain DoW IL5, HIPAA and Privacy Act controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, data science, operations research, computer science, engineering, epidemiology, etc., or a behavioral science with a quantitative-methods concentration).
• Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of applied statistics and supervised/unsupervised machine learning.
• Visual analytics experience (Power BI preferred).
• Desired, not required: Databricks/PySpark, NLP/LLM familiarity, Power Platform, Palantir Foundry, human performance or clinical data experience.

Required Minimum Experience

Minimum 1 year applying data science or statistical methods; documented internship, capstone or project work in a bachelor's program satisfies this.

Additional Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Document all encounters in HPDMS per USSOCOM Directive 10-12.
• For embedded field positions, where the task order requires: meet SOF training physical demands (hiking rough terrain, austere environments, aircraft and watercraft) and lift up to 25 kg.
• Maintain 100% compliance with local mandatory command training.
