Job summary
The Fountain Group is seeking a Data Scientist I in Waltham, MA to support CMC Analytical Development. The role focuses on managing, analyzing, visualizing, and documenting analytical laboratory data for biologics development.
You will collaborate with Analytical Leads across substance, product, and development activities. The position supports regulatory submissions and technology transfers, with an emphasis on data integrity and audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in analytical sciences or related field.
- 1–3+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech lab environments.
- Experience with LIMS or electronic laboratory data systems.
- Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience in data trending, visualization, and analytical summaries.
- Experience authoring technical reports and analytical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Access and manage analytical data from LIMS and lab databases.
- Consolidate and reconcile analytical results from internal/external labs.
- Verify data accuracy, completeness and traceability.
- Maintain data repositories and standardized reporting templates.
- Enter results into trending software and databases.
- Generate trend reports and visualizations for leadership.
- Prepare SARs and supporting documentation.
