Job summary

Caterpillar’s Cat Digital arm seeks a data analytics professional to build next-generation analytics for the world’s largest fleet of connected assets. You will explore data, apply NLP and ML techniques, and deliver insights using visualization tools.

You will work with Python data stacks, cloud platforms, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• Experience with Python data tools (NumPy, pandas).
• Knowledge of ML and NLP techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Gather, mine, and process data at large scale.
• Build data models and semantic capabilities with NLP and ML.
• Present insights to management using data visualization tools.
• Collaborate with Cat Digital teams across functions.
