Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist I or II to develop AI software and systems for HTA products. You will build and deploy ML models, design analytics pipelines, and work with cross-functional teams to translate failure patterns into actionable features.

The role requires strong Python skills, 5+ years in DS/ML, and experience with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and agentic AI concepts. Hybrid work with travel up to 5% is available.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or similar quantitative field.
• At least five years of practical experience in DS/ML.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with time-series analysis, anomaly detection, RCA/FTA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy ML models for time-series forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Design end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment.
• Lead RCA investigations using data-driven approaches and model-based features.
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to translate failure patterns into ML features.
• Build scalable solutions using Python ML frameworks and modern data platforms.
