Job summary

Celestar, a B&A Company, seeks a Data Scientist to join a mission-focused team. You will perform data analytics, build AI tools, and deliver predictive insights across large datasets in support of national security initiatives.

The role requires strong skills in Python, R, SQL, ML, and data visualization, with geospatial data experience and a TS/SCI clearance. Expect collaboration across analysts, engineers, and clients in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in a STEM-related discipline and 5 years of relevant experience OR BA/BS in STEM and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data science techniques including regression, NLP, clustering, neural networks, and deep learning.
• Proficiency with SQL and scripting languages (Python, R, Julia).

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory and predictive analyses.
• Develop AI tools to automate processes (e.g., recommendation engines, lead scoring).
• Perform statistical analysis and build prediction systems.
• Create data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau; manage and merge disparate data sources.
• Apply ML and AI to large multi-INT analytics and automation.
