Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking an early‑career Data Scientist (Data Scientist 2) to contribute to Global Operations analytics. You will translate business questions into analytical approaches, apply statistics and ML, and build dashboards and data products using R and Python.

The role leverages Gen AI tools to accelerate prototyping, supports supply chain risk minimization, and collaborates with analysts and stakeholders across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python or R for data-based solutions.
• Foundational knowledge of statistical techniques and ML concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL across multiple tables.
• Hands-on experience with Gen AI/LLM tools for coding and analysis.
• Experience building dashboards or data products.

Responsibilities
