Job summary

Advent Services seeks a Data Scientist to support federal job series reclassification. You will apply advanced analytics, NLP, and ML to workforce data and position descriptions to align with classification standards.

You will develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights to HR leaders and ensure data-driven recommendations for series alignment, while staying compliant with federal policies and evolving workforce analytics trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to position descriptions, job duties, and workforce information.
• Apply NLP and ML to identify trends across job roles.
• Conduct text analytics to map tasks, skills, and responsibilities to series and grades.
• Collaborate with HR professionals and leadership to validate data-driven findings.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights clearly.
• Ensure consistency and compliance with federal classification policies.
• Provide recommendations on reclassification and series alignment.
• Stay current with trends in workforce analytics and HR tech.
