Job summary

Talantir Hermitage, TN seeks a Data Scientist to support data acquisition, cleaning, preprocessing, and quality checks across internal and third‑party financial systems using SQL, Python (Pandas) and Excel.

You will conduct exploratory data analysis, build and validate models with Scikit-learn, and help automate data pipelines with Python and RPA tools. Collaboration with finance, data engineering, and strategy teams aligns insights with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Python (Pandas) and Excel for data preparation.
• Experience in automating data pipelines and CI/CD practices with Git.
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI and Python visualization.
• Familiarity with GDPR/SOX and data governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Data Acquisition, Cleaning & Preprocessing: collect, validate, and preprocess datasets using SQL, Python (Pandas) and Excel.
• EDA: identify trends, outliers, and correlations; prepare summaries and checks.
• Automation & Data Pipeline Support: develop automation scripts and pipelines using Python, Excel macros, and RPA tools; support version control/CICD with Git.
