Job summary

IPT Global is seeking a data scientist to drive analytics across open-ended problems in data analytics, ML, and predictive modeling on large, complex datasets. You will design, execute, and validate methods used in IPT Global’s well integrity solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to present findings to senior management.

Location in Houston, TX with a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics).
• 3 years of direct work experience in a data related field.
• Proficiency in statistical/numerical analysis concepts: regression, multivariate analysis, optimization, risk analysis.
• Experience with statistical software (R, Python, MATLAB), SQL, and data science toolkits (TensorFlow, Keras).

Responsibilities

• Leverage strong data science skills throughout the data analysis process (problem formulation, aggregation, transformation, cleaning, descriptive analysis, modeling, visualization).
• Design and execute research on data analytics, ML, and predictive modeling on large, complex datasets for key stakeholders.
• Evaluate, improve, and invent analysis methods for IPT Global’s well integrity solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and present findings to senior management.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that drive business value for internal and external clients.
