Job summary

Guidehouse in Austin, TX, is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions across Python, SQL, R, Databricks, Power BI and GIS. You will partner with utility clients and experts, translate business needs into scalable analytics and data products, and present findings to diverse audiences to enable data-driven decisions.

The role involves designing AI-enabled solutions, dashboards, and visualizations, with up to 10% travel and a focus on energy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
1+ years of professional experience applying data analytics, BI, data science, or related techniques.
Experience with Python, SQL, R, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, GIS, or similar technologies.
Experience working with large datasets and building analytics solutions from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions using Python, SQL, R, Databricks, Power BI, GIS, and other analytics platforms.
Partner with clients and experts to define objectives, approaches, and actionable recommendations.
Design, develop, test, and implement data analytics and AI-enabled solutions for utility clients.
Translate business needs into scalable workflows, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences to support data-driven decisions.
