Job summary

Archer, in collaboration with MANTECH, seeks a Data Scientist in Fort Meade, MD to drive statistical analytics and cloud-based data solutions for national security objectives.

You will work with subject matter experts and customers to guide analytic development from prototype to production, delivering high-value data-driven insights while laying the groundwork for future ML integration into mission operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, data analytics, or related technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field or 4 additional years of direct relevant experience.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL or similar data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute technical expertise across multiple data science and analytic development efforts in a secure cloud environment.
• Collaborate with customers, analysts, and subject matter experts to align analytic requirements with mission goals.
• Prototype and transition data pipelines and analytic prototypes into scalable, operational environments.
• Apply statistical modeling, data analysis, and graph-based approaches to complex datasets, preparing workflows for future ML applications.
• Manage analytic tasks and deliver high-quality technical work to meet project objectives.
