Job summary

Stitch Fix is seeking a data science professional to join the Decisions & Insights team. You will design experiments, build analytic workflows, and translate complex data into actionable strategy. You will work with Client Experience, Strategy, Marketing, Styling, and Engineering to inform product decisions and drive measurable outcomes.

You will mentor teammates, leverage LLMs and AI agents, and own projects from framing to delivery in a dynamic e‑commerce environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a data science role, ideally in e‑commerce/retail.
• Experience leveraging graph database technologies to build 360‑degree views across domains.
• Experience with product analytics, event tracking, and user behavior mapping.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical models, experiments, and causal inference approaches.
• Build scalable analytical capabilities and AI-enabled workflows.
• Own complex analytical initiatives from framing to delivery and communicate findings to leadership.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to define success metrics and improve products.
• Mentor other data scientists and leverage LLMs/AI agents to accelerate analysis.
