Job summary

Adobe’s Digital Insights team is seeking a Data Scientist to turn large datasets into trusted, repeatable insights. You will own end-to-end data work, build digital economy metrics, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership to deliver actionable stories from data.

You will query structured and unstructured data, produce dashboards, and support diverse topics from inflation analysis to web metrics benchmarking, using AI-native tools to accelerate exploration and maintain

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (economics, statistics, mathematics, data science, or similar).
• 4–6 years turning data into insight in analytical, data science, or research roles.
• Strong querying with SQL and analysis with Python to answer business questions.
• AI-native: proficient using AI and agentic tools to accelerate exploration and drafting.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or a comparable platform.
• Analytical problem-solving with hypothesis testing and clear recommendations.
• Ability to tell data stories with writing and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full data-to-insight stack from raw data through processing to data products and dashboards.
• Query, mine, and synthesize large structured and unstructured datasets to deliver insights.
• Build recurring analyses, metrics, and indices for ADI’s reporting.
• Adapt to shifting priorities across topics like creativity trends and product insights.
• Turn analyses into clear narratives and visuals for non-technical audiences.
• Conduct ad-hoc deep dives and respond to time-sensitive questions across Adobe.
• Use AI tools to speed exploration and drafting while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Partner with engineering to define data requirements and improve pipelines.
