Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team supporting a FedRAMP High modernization program. You will develop analytical models, BI solutions, and AI/ML capabilities, delivering insights across enterprise data using Looker/LookML, BigQuery, and cloud ML services.

Remote or hybrid work is available for candidates in the DC area. The role requires strong statistical methods, data visualization, and the ability to translate mission requirements into measurable KPIs.

Qualifications

3–6 years of data science experience with production model deployment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data transformation and analysis.
Hands-on Looker/LookML experience with semantic modeling and PDTs.
Strong data visualization, storytelling, and KPI design skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain LookML data models, looks, and dashboards for BI.
Build and deploy ML models using Python and cloud AI/ML services.
Conduct EDA, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing on operational data.
Develop feature engineering pipelines and model training workflows with cloud data platforms.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure quality data for analytics.
Translate mission requirements into analytical problems and KPIs.
Implement responsible AI practices including explainability and bias assessment.
Create automated reporting and alerting for stakeholders at the right time.
Document methodologies, validation results, and performance metrics.
