Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Data Scientist on a 06+ months contract in McLean, VA onsite. You will design data transfer methods and apply AI to migration and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years AI migration with legacy systems, 8+ years in application development, and experience with GenAI/ML. Familiarity with Kiro and a range of modern tech stacks is a plus. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable

Qualifications

1-3 years of AI migration experience with legacy systems.
8+ years hands-on experience in application development.
Experience with GenAI/ML for migration and transformation.
Familiarity with Kiro and existing legacy code.
Strong knowledge of data streaming concepts and distributed systems.
Experience with APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), Containers, Serverless, DevOps.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data transfer methods loading data into a modern OLTP.
Leverage AI for migration, faster reconciliation, and user transition.
Partner with architecture, security, networking, platform, and application teams.
