Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Data Scientist on a 06+ months contract in McLean, VA onsite. You will design data transfer methods and apply AI to migration and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years AI migration with legacy systems, 8+ years in application development, and experience with GenAI/ML. Familiarity with Kiro and a range of modern tech stacks is a plus. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of AI migration experience with legacy systems.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in application development.
• Experience with GenAI/ML for migration and transformation.
• Familiarity with Kiro and existing legacy code.
• Strong knowledge of data streaming concepts and distributed systems.
• Experience with APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), Containers, Serverless, DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.

Immediate need for a talented Data Scientist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Mclean, VA (Onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement contemporary data transfer methodologies that seamlessly load data into a modern OLTP.
• Leverage AI for faster migration, efficient data reconciliation, and smooth user transition.
• Partner with internal collaborators and develop strong stakeholder relationships across architecture, security, networking, platform, and application teams.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 1-3 years of AI migration experience and working with legacy systems.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in application development.
• Good hands-on AI experience and experience interacting/working with chatbots.
• Experience with GenAI/ML for migration and transformation of legacy code/systems.
• Familiarity with Kiro and existing legacy code.
• Fixed Income experience is nice to have.
• Strong knowledge of data streaming concepts and distributed systems.
• Proven hands-on experience with multiple technologies like APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming, Logging & Monitoring, Databases (SQL, NoSQL), Containers, Serverless Frameworks, DevOps, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience required; advanced studies/degree preferred.
