Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, is seeking a data science professional to lead AI/ML and GenAI initiatives across the business. You will collaborate with senior data scientists to build, test, deploy, and monitor models that drive policy growth, retention, and profitability.

You will prepare data, validate results, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders, while contributing to best practices and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, CS, or related field.
• 2+ years of data science/predictive analytics in (re)insurance or 4+ years in another industry.
• Experience building and deploying statistical and ML models for business value.
• Proficient data wrangling, cleaning, and quality evaluation for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models with general guidance and stakeholders in mind.
• Act as liaison between ML Engineers and Data Science team for deployments and testing.
• Present modeling results to stakeholders and management as requested.
• Address loosely defined problems with creative analytics approaches for actionable insights.
