Job summary

Cohere AI is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Analytics and Data Insights team. You will own analytical work end-to-end, from framing questions and building models to shipping insights that inform product strategy and enterprise decisions.

You will design experiments, build predictive models, and deliver customer-facing analytics that demonstrate real value. This role offers remote-friendly, hybrid work with global teams and rich benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git, alongside expertise in statistical inference, experimental design, and predictive modeling.
• Experience building and deploying production models, not just notebook analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Looker, or Airflow (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Drive analytics initiatives end-to-end, framing questions, building models, and shipping insights to product leaders and enterprise customers.
• Build bleeding-edge agentic analytics to bring order and clarity to real-world data.
• Define AI impact measurement and own analytics storytelling around adoption and impact.
• Ship customer-facing analytics that demonstrate value to enterprise customers.
• Design and run experiments (A/B tests, causal inference, opportunity sizing) to inform product decisions.
• Build predictive models for forecasting, segmentation, and opportunity sizing across Cohere's business lines.
• Operate with ownership, prioritizing analyses and pushing from question to production.
