Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Analytics and Data Insights team. You will own analytical work end-to-end: framing questions, building models, shipping insights, and delivering results that product leaders, sales teams, and enterprise customers rely on.

Qualifications

• Strong command of SQL, Python, and Git, with expertise in statistical inference and experimental design.
• Experience turning ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical problems with actionable recommendations.
• Experience building and deploying production models, not just notebook analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools (BigQuery, dbt, Looker, Airflow) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the analytics mission forward with agentic analytics and measurable impact.
• Define AI impact measurement and analyze adoption, growth, and feature prioritization.
• Ship customer-facing analytics to demonstrate value to enterprise customers.
• Build language models to categorize and enrich message data for customer visibility.
• Design and run experiments including A/B tests and causal inference studies.
• Build and deploy predictive models across Cohere's core business lines.
• Own analytical priorities and push initiatives from question to production.
