Job summary

Two Six Technologies seeks an experienced Data Scientist or Senior Data Scientist to join cross-functional product development teams. You will tackle challenging problems in the information operations space, using proprietary data, AI-powered tech, and expert insights to deliver real-time analytics for U.S.

government and Fortune 50 clients. You’ll work autonomously on agentic AI projects, collaborating with product, engineering, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; higher degrees preferred.
• 3+ years in Data Science (or 1+ with a PhD), 2+ years Python experience (Intermediate+).
• Experience with agentic and generative AI including LangChain/LangGraph and prompting for production pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML workflows: feature engineering, model training/evaluation, supervision/unsupervised learning, anomaly detection.
• Strong statistics knowledge and experience with statistical tests, distributions, and maximum likelihood estimators.
• Experience with version control and Agile/Jira processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into concrete data science/engineering problems.
• Develop and evaluate high-quality prototypes.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy production-ready software.
• Work on agentic systems and tools for agentic AI solutions.
• Own projects across statistics, business communication, leadership, and software development.
• Contribute to near-term and long-term product roadmaps.
• Experiment with ML techniques and analytics including text analytics and data visualization.
• Design experiments to test data sampling and collection strategies.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses or build prototype tools for subject matter experts.
• Participate in strategic discussions on the direction of data science at the company.
