Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead complex AI projects, architect agent systems, and build scalable AI solutions for Analyst-focused workflows in Irving, TX. You will collaborate across IT, PMO, and business leaders to deliver high-value capabilities and drive adoption of advanced AI tools.

The role requires 6–8 years of ML engineering experience, strong NLP/AI background, and proven success deploying LLMs in production.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years hands-on experience in advanced ML engineering and enterprise tool/product development.
• 2+ years deploying and managing LLMs in production.
• Strong communication skills translating ML/AI solutions into business strategy.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead data science projects with IT, Data Engineering, App development, PMO and business leaders to deliver high-value capabilities.
• Architect and build agent systems and agentic workflows that provide intelligent Analyst experiences at scale.
• Design and implement advanced AI tools for content planning, production, and insights creation.
• Develop MCP servers for seamless integration between AI agents and enterprise/external tools.
• Build user profiling and personalization models for tailored chatbot experiences.
• Ensure high-quality AI/data science solutions with accuracy, coverage, and scalability.
• Drive algorithm enhancements with proper documentation and code reuse.
• Leverage internal/external data to understand Analysts’ priorities and deliver targeted support.
• Collaborate with leadership on long-term vision and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Pitch ideas and influence senior leaders with strong business value propositions.
• Stay updated on AI/ML models and architectures related to LLMs, multi-agent systems, agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to launch MVPs and move toward production.
• Independently plan and drive complex data science projects delivering measurable ROI.
• Mentor junior data scientists in AI Engineering and LLM app development.
